Spay and Neuter to Save Lives: Rescue Has No Borders
$20 = 1 Spay or Neuter – Help Save a Life
As New York Bully Crew’s mission expands to assist and help save dogs beyond our borders, we continuously encounter the same recurring obstacle: Overpopulation. Now, every legitimate animal advocate will scream for all to hear that spay and neutering your pets is essential to keeping them healthy and also helps the endless amount of unwanted animals that need saving. BUT, what about those animals that don’t have a human to protect, feed, and keep them healthy? The street dogs that are taking over every city, typically in low income areas that don’t have the means, education or resources to rectify the heartache and despair.
Our independent rescuers, such as Karina and Melissa, in Peru and Honduras battle this crisis day and night. Along with overpopulation comes the massive amounts of disease and communicable conditions that the street dogs are plagued with and dying painful, unnecessary deaths because of contagious cancers transmitted through mating, such as the Transmissible Venereal Tumors, which is curable if treatment is available.
NYBC is asking for your compassion and assistance so we can provide our rescuers the funds to hold mini spay and neuter clinics for the strays in these low income, at risk areas. These clinics will help keep the population from growing and more importantly, keep these dogs healthier so that they don’t suffer from painful diseases.
The strays of the world did not ask for this existence. It was humans that failed them. Please join us to make a difference, even if it is a small step in the right direction.
