Rosa and Brandy Surgery Fund
We ask you to help us with two very special girls. Both saved from city shelters facing possible euthanasia. Both dumped by their families because of medical costs from injuries that weren’t tended to and the complications only got worse. Both girls needed amputations and then had to recover among strangers, no familiar faces to find comfort in.
Rosa and Brandy were operated on and cared for by the wonderful medical team at UPenn Veterinary Hospital. Rosa needed additional surgery for mammary tumors also. Rosa also had to recover from pneumonia.
The girls’ combined medical cost is $10,589.00. We cannot in good conscience accept the responsibility of anymore dire medical cases in need of emergency surgery until this medical cost is paid in full.
This pains us to make this decision as we know there will be an at risk dog in need of immediate help and we cannot commit to them. Please help NYBC resolve this amount so we can continue to save the lives of other dogs in dire need. We are pleading with our followers to pull together at this time because we really need your help. Poor, sad Brandy only raised $365.00 while she was hospitalized. And Rosa’s multiple procedures and medical treatment totals over $7k.
Please consider contributing to these beautiful girls so we can help many more.
