Hurricane Irma Relief & Recovery
On the heal of the devastating Hurricane Harvey, IRMA is punishing the Caribbean. Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest storms ever recorded in the Atlantic, hit the eastern Caribbean on Wednesday with winds of up to 185 miles an hour. It has destroyed Barbuda and St Martin. New York Bully Crew has a strong rescue presence on the island since July 2016. NYBC sees the despair on a daily basis of the strays, abandoned and neglected dogs suffering on Puerto Rico. We are extremely worried about the over 50 dogs in our care on the island and for the innocent victims that will be severely affected by Irma and we feel helpless right now. NYBC has a temporary foster and boarding location that is under attack by the storm and the various independent fosters that give up they home and heart to help save these dogs. We are frantic about their safety and well being. The only thing that we can do is to prepare for the aftermath of the hurricane and be ready to assist, rescue and rebuild once we are able to mobilize. If you are able to contribute to the NYBC Hurricane Relief Fund, either by a monetary donation, supplies, or electronic gift cards- any support is greatly appreciated and will be used to supply our fosters with essential immediate needs and medical care. Electronic gift cards for Petsmart, Petco, Home Depot or Amazon can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
