Help for Hurricane Harvey
The Staten Island community has come together to assist the families affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Our elected officials, schools, churches and volunteer organizations, along with residents are in motion and ready to help.
We know all too well the immediate needs in the aftermath of a devastating storm. Although monetary donations are needed, what affected families need right now are supplies, food, clothing, essentials. Remember, money is great but when there aren’t stores to purchase or a home to be delivered to, supplies that are immediately available is what the communities need right now. We have a cohesive plan to have trucks leave late next week. We will continue to aid for full recovery will take years. And keep in mind, wish lists, requests will change as immediate needs will keep changing throughout this recovery.
We are collecting immediate needs supplies and there are multiple drop off locations onStaten Island along with a convenient Amazon Wishlist for easy donations.
Also, our Patchogue facility has a drop off bin for our Long Island supporters at 1457 Montauk Highway, NY 11772.
We are collecting for example-
• School supplies • Contractor Bags • Cleaning supplies
• Body wash/ Shampoo • First aid kids • Pet supplies
• Home Depot, Walmart, Target GIft Cards
And now more than ever, we are asking for available fosters to step up and open your heart and home for the countless pets that are now displaced and in need of safety and stability. New York Bully Crew is prepared to help the animal community in any capacity that is needed. We will work in conjunction various groups to facilitate this initiative. We do ask that any potential foster, please submit an application. If you are approved and qualified, your application fee will be refunded.
Also, any transporter group or individual, please email your contact info so we can compile a network list.
