ABOUT ME:

Update  3/6/19- It is truly amazing progress! Lilly’s horrific mastitis open wounds have healed beautifully and she is ready for adoption! Loves people and friendly with other dogs, please open your heart for this abandoned momma and give her the love she deserves!

Bio- Lilly’s skin and tissue is breaking down, pus filled pockets are opening into huge open wounds! She is on heavy antibiotics and pain meds, wet to dry bandage dressings and through all of this, she is still gentle. Please pray for Lilly.

Saved from MDAS-  Found discarded like trash and in desperate need of medical care, Lilly was brought in MDAS as a stray.  She has a horrific open, infected wound in the mammary chain called mastitis.  She clearly just had a litter of babies but the babies weren’t found.  Someone dumped her. She is severely malnourished and the infection is starting to take over her frail body.  NYBC could not allow her to get any worse by sitting in the shelter.  Our colleague stopped her up and rushed her to the hospital in Miami.  Her condition is guarded.  She is in very bad shape.  Please consider donating to Lilly’s emergency medical care.
