HELP ME GET SEEN & ADOPTED!
5/4/19 Update- On the same day Baby Opal’s ashes were returned to @pibbles_plantation, a third swimmer pup entered their loving home. We wholeheartedly believe this was a message straight from Baby Opal in heaven that there is much more work to be done for special needs pups! There is a third swimmer pup sibling! The person who had the third pup reached out to us when they saw how well the siblings were being cared for. Knowing they didn’t have the knowledge to provide proper treatment they called on NYBC to take the puppy into our care in the hopes that progress could be made for the third pup. Thank you to the volunteers who drove all the way to pick this pup up and personally bring them to Pibbles Plantation to receive the same intensive therapy which is effecting great progress with his siblings.
Last night, multiple NYBC crew members were contacted by different advocates in hopes of helping 2 very young puppies that have presented with Swimmers or twisted leg syndrome. Immediately we committed to the puppies rescue and we are anxiously awaiting their arrival. Physical therapy must begin immediately; time is of the essence!
Please consider donating to our new twin babes’ immediate care and health.
We will update later with details.
