HELP ME GET SEEN & ADOPTED!
UPDATE 11/15/2018- Farrah was seen by a board certified surgeon who unfortunately does not think that surgery will repair Farrah’s immobility. But, the good news is she still has deep pain sensation which means sh still has feelings is her rear legs. Farrah needs chiropractic treatments, along with ease treatment and physical therapy in hopes to realign her spine and give her the best chance possible to regain mobility.
Found in a feeding route, there was Farrah. She sits up proud but once she begins to move closer to the food left on the street, you notice something very wrong. Initially, locals wanted to bring to be euthanized, but our colleagues were contacted and they asked if NYBC could help this sweet girl.
Farrah cannot use her back legs. She is dragging the back end of her body around. We do not know how or why, but we will help Farrah. She arrived to the hospital for evaluation. She has pain sensation which means surgery might be an option. She has a fractured spine and herniated disc. She is underweight at only 9lbs at 1 years old! She is loaded with parasites and has anemia.
Please help us help Farrah. This will be a costly undertaking but Farrah deserves the chance at a good life.
