HELP ME GET SEEN & ADOPTED!
July 2018- With a broken heart, we have learned that our beloved Saint Vincent has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Our majestic Vincent will be remembered for his grace, his kind heart and his immense will to survive.
We will celebrate his life and we are thankful to have been a part of his epic story. What is important to keep in mind is that the time he spent with his family had erased the harm that was done to him. He was able to experience what it was like to have respect, love and dignity.
He was given a second chance when Craig and V took him into their home and showed him what it is like to be loved. And when Vincent’s family adopted him, he finally found his home.
His gentle and kind heart will forever shine bright and light our way.
Saint Vincent was diagnosed with Leonberger Polyneuropathy- a debilitating disease affecting the nervous system.
Realistically, his breed passes long before his age of 13. We know in our hearts that Vincent stood strong all his hard years and survived his past just so he could finally enjoy the unconditional love of a family.
Our deepest gratitude to the Good Samaritan that found him, the NYPD officers that rushed to save him, our amazing volunteers that ensured his immediate care and the excellent staff at @vergbrooklyn for making him well enough to walk out of the hospital and live to see another day.
Saint Vincent, thank you for your bravery and forgiveness. You will be remembered with joy in our hearts and a smile in our souls.
Play with the angels and run free…You are loved.
He is named SAINT VINCENT- We are sorry for the nature of the images. St. Vincent arrived to the emergency hospital and is now being worked on by ER doctors in Brooklyn. A call came in to NYPD about a plastic bag moving and could hear breathing- A DOG WITH MOUTH TAPED SHUT! NYBC was called in to try to help. The condition is grave, we will not lie but our NYBC team is in route to the hospital and a compassionate volunteer met the officers and is on the way to the emergency hospital. Please help us help Vincent.
