HELP ME GET SEEN & ADOPTED!
Update 6/8/17- Today is a tremendously sad day for New York Bully Crew. Although we desperately tried to defy the odds, our sweet Naji will be put at peace today. Naji will be at home, surrounded by love, in the comforting arms of @c.legit5 and his lady. This disease has proven to be too strong of an enemy to fight and we cannot in good conscience allow her to suffer for the sake of our own heartbreak and selfishness. All of the NYBC family, including you all, have been lucky to have had her put in our path. Her short existence with us has taught us and could teach the world a lot about graciousness, resilience and forgiveness. During this extremely difficult time, please fill your day with love and honor this amazingly beautiful soul. Thank you for always supporting and loving the dogs of New York Bully Crew.
UPDATE 5/30/17- Come on NAJI, FIGHT LIKE A GIRL! Gentle Naji had her first chemo treatment and started holistic therapies the next day. Her appetite has increased and hopefully she will start gaining some healthy weight and strength. She absolutely loves all the love and attention and she feels everyone’s good wishes. Please continue to support Naji’s journey-
We have only just begun to win this battle!
UPDATE 5/27/17- UPDATE ON NAJI -Biopsy results reveal that that our sweet Naji has Lymphoma. Obviously this is not the result that we wanted to hear but true to our nature, we will fight this head on with her and start aggressive treatment immediately. NAJI will be meeting with her oncologist Tuesday to set and begin a treatment plan. We will be incorporating holistic/ homeopathic treatment to enhance any benefits of the traditional medicine that she will be prescribed.
We ask that you pray and help us support Naji during this crucial time. We will not listen or believe the time limits that have been told to us. NAJI=SURVIVOR. She was put in our path for a reason. We will stand beside her through the rest of her journey and SHE WILL NOT EVER BE ALONE AGAIN.
We are speechless. @c.legit5 and #thecrew responded to a call in Queens from a civilian and the NYPD 113th Precinct to pick up an abandoned dog that was tied to the fence of a veterinary office. Ironically the office wants nothing to do with this poor dog that has open sores and lumps. The veterinarian refused to treat the dog, quite possibly because there was no wallet attached to the dog. She is named NAJI – meaning survivor in Arabic. She was seen by ur local vet and will be biopsied on Monday. We are asking for financially support for this sweet girl and also a MEDICAL FOSTER for her. Please donate and/or fill out a foster application to help Naji during this crucial time.
