UPDATE 11/19/2017 – Willow was transported to the hospital and needed immediate pyometra surgery. Luckily, Willow had fast thinking rescuers and got her immediate medical attention and right into surgery!
If left untreated, she will die from kidney failure. Pyometra refers to a purulent (pus-filled) infection in the uterus. It occurs in older intact female dogs, but can also occur in unspayed dogs of any age. Since toxicity may develop very quickly in dogs with pyometra, it needs to be treated promptly with surgery.
We were asked if we could help this abandoned beauty in Puerto Rico. She is very thin, has multiple tumors and is alone. We sent our NYBC-PR rescue team and coordinated with the concerned advocate and Willow is rescued!
BUT requires SURGERY!
Please help Willow by donating to her surgery, care and treatment.
