HELP ME GET SEEN & ADOPTED!
Houston, TX- While our newest shelter rescue was being diagnosed in the emergency 24 hour hospital in Texas, a distraught local man rushed in sobbing. He was holding a tiny, female dog in his arms. She was attacked by another dog and had a gruesome wound of her eyeball dangling out of the socket. He was surrendering her to euthanize. It is unclear if it was due to financial reasons, but that was the choice he was making. Because we have used this hospital may other times with death row rescue dogs, the vet tech asked our foster mom that was in the waiting room if she could ask NYBC to help this sweet female.
Wendy has now been accepted by NYBC and will receive the medical treatment and surgery she needs to be comfortable and to start healing. Wendy will lose her eye but she will not lose her life! Please donate to Beth’s surgical costs as we were not prepared to take on an additional medical case, but we will honor our commitment to those in dire need and desperation.
Please stay tuned for updates as we receive information.
You can also help by purchasing items on our Amazon Wishlist. NOTE: New York Bully Crew will not only receive the products you choose to donate, but we will also receive a commission from your entire order. All proceeds will go directly to our dogs. Thank you!
