Our rescue partner in Mexico who recently saved Pirate and Chloe was contacted today about a dog found by a taco stand begging for food. When she went out to locate the dog, she was shocked at what she found. Sonrisa has severe injuries to her head and paw, and it is evident that she may have been living with the injuries for a few days. The wounds appear to be the result of human-inflicted abuse.
She is in extreme pain and was rushed to the emergency vet, where she is right now.
