T mama’s Story
Today, we’re once again contacted about a female dog. Overbred and clearly neglected. She was found wandering alone near 108th and Guy R Brewer Blvd in Queens.
An NYPD officer from the 103rd Precinct stepped in to help her. She was being kept safe at the station, but her condition is devastating: Her back has what looks like a large scar or burn. Locals say she was used for puppies and dumped when she was no longer profitable.
Another discarded mama, tossed aside like trash.
But somehow… she’s still smiling. Still trusting. Still hoping someone will love her.
This is what they do to the forgotten ones. This is what happens to the mothers, the ones who gave everything until they had nothing left to give.
She needs medical care. She needs a foster. She needs to feel safe.
And we can’t do it without you.
A second NYPD officer from the 113th Precinct is now transporting her to us, and we’re incredibly grateful. But now it’s our turn to show up.
Please, donate to help cover her care.
