Yesterday, we received a disturbing video from TikTok: a distressed young lady recorded a puppy that was locked outside in a cage, filled with urine and excrement.

The puppy had been sitting there in the heat for days, with no food or water. Despite calling the authorities, no one answered her plea for help. The young lady then posted the video on TikTok, where we can see and hear her heartbreak.

Disgustingly, the “owner” realized that the pup was being recorded and, after days outside, finally took the dog inside.

However, the despicable owner odiously asked for $500 for the puppy.

The young lady was able to raise the funds to save this innocent life and rescued her. A beautiful case of “if you see something, do something.”

Sadly, these situations are not uncommon, which is disturbing to witness. We are in 2025, in one of the biggest cities in the world. Why are dogs still seen as furniture? But that’s a debate for another day.

Seeing this distressed puppy in the heat, locked in a crate like a criminal and covered in filth, broke us. We knew that we had to help.

After being neglected and abused for who knows how long, this poor little girl will finally have a glimmer of hope.

Don’t worry, little one, you will soon be safe.
