Duke’s Story
A little over a year and a half ago, someone adopted Dante from us when he was just two months old.
Since then, life hasn’t been easy for Dante and Duke’s owner.
They lost their home, moved in with a friend, and the dogs were the only thing keeping her going.
Friday night, everything changed.
A terrible fight broke out between Dante and Duke. Their person couldn’t break it up and called us while they were still fighting — desperate for help.
Both dogs were hurt.
Dante has punctures and cuts, but Duke is in critical condition.
They asked us for help — and even though this situation is heartbreaking, we said we would do everything we could for Duke.
Right now, Duke’s vet bill is estimated at almost $7,000.
Both boys need care, but Duke is fighting for his life.
