Meet Dante

𝗪𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 in Wyandanch when he was just a baby. Dante was quickly adopted as a puppy by a family who already had another dog.

Sadly, about a year ago, Dante was returned to us following a serious fight with the other dog in his home, after being with the family for two years.

And we would love nothing more than to see this handsome boy find a home again.

Ideally, we would love for Dante to be the only dog in the home. However, we wouldn’t completely rule out a home with another dog if the adopter is experienced, understands dog behavior, and can safely manage the situation.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 or virtual if you are not from the area, to help Dante and his future adopter adjust to their new life together. We want to make sure whoever welcomes Dante into their home has the guidance and support needed.

Dante deserves someone patient, experienced, and committed to giving him a loving, stable home.

We know his history may make finding the right home a more challenging, but we also know that his story is so much more than what happened that day.

Please help us share Dante’s story. The right person may be out there, and sometimes all it takes is one share to reach them.
