Turbo’s Story
We rescued Turbo summer 2023, after he was surrendered to the 113 precinct following a fight with the resident dog in his home.
Sadly, dogs like Turbo are often euthanized at the shelter due to a “fighting history.” Even with no context whatsoever, his fate would have been sealed.
The second we saw Turbo and his sad eyes, we knew that we had to help him.
We believe that Turbo might have been picked on by the other dog, and finally stood up for himself. His “family” simply decided to abandon him instead of working with him, which isn’t something unusual.
Turbo is an amazing dog: he is always happy, and he loves everyone!
After having him with us for some time now, we can proudly say that Turbo also loves other dogs. With no hesitation, Turbo wants to play.
Situations arising in a home with dogs all depend on how it is handled, and who is handling it. Thankfully, we were able to save him before the people who handled the situation handed him to a shelter where his fate would be sealed.
