Turbo’s Story
We were alerted about this gorgeous bully, who was surrendered to the shelter in Staten Island.
Heartbreakingly, Turbo got into an altercation with a cat, which resulted in the cat’s death.
It is unknown if the cat was the family cat or an outdoor cat.
Turbo was about to be euthanized because of it.
This story saddened us, as this terrible incident shouldn’t result in the death of Turbo.
We understand that this is a tough subject, but we want to assure everyone that there is a big difference between issues with family cats and dogs, stray cats and dogs, dogs and dogs, and dogs and humans. They all cannot be compared, and never should.
We have evaluated Turbo, and he is a great dog regardless of what happened. Turbo loves people, as well as other dogs.
We saved Turbo’s life, as Turbo deserves a second chance at life.
