penelope’s Story
This gorgeous girl was going to be euthanized in a few hours.
Penelope was found on February 9th as a stray in Loxahatchee Groves. Sadly, no one came forward for her. This makes us believe that Penelope was simply dumped outside.
Penelope is young and was never told how to behave. She is a wiggly girl and has tons of energy. She craves attention and training.
Heartbreakingly, the shelter didn’t have any more room for her, and due to her high energy, they didn’t have enough staff to care for her properly.
If we didn’t intervene, Penelope wouldn’t be here today.
We were thankfully able to secure a foster home for Penelope, where she will stay until she comes to New York.
We can only save dogs like Penelope because of your support.
